\nThe F&IU (Confined Spaces) Regulation regulates no workers shall enter or work in the confined space other than certified workers and regulates a proprietor or contractor shall appoint a competent person to carry out an assessment of the working conditions and nature of tasks to be performed in the confined space.\u00a0 The objective of the course is to provide specific OSH training to persons who are to work as certified worker or competent persons in connection with confined space activities.<\/p>\n

Admission Requirements<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Student must possess a certificate of “Certified Worker of Confined Space Operation” issued on or after 30 November 2024 with validity time not less than 1 year at the time of enrolment, prior applying the “Competent Person of Confined Space Operation” course.<\/p>\n

Course Duration<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

12 hours for theory, hands-on sessions and written examination plus 4 hours of practical examination.<\/p>\n

Total 16 hours.<\/p>\n

Validity Period of Certificate<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2 years from the course completion date.<\/p>\n
