Training Focus
The Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Confined Spaces) Regulation regulates workers shall hold a valid certificate to work in the confined space. This certificate issued under FIUO carries an expiry date. Upon expiry, the certificate holder has to successfully complete a recognized revalidation course.
Admission Requirements
Possess a “Certificate for Certified Worker and Competent Person” which will be expired within 6 months or expired for not more than 3 months.
Course Duration
16 hours for theory, hands-on sessions and written examination plus 4 hours of practical examination.
Total 20 hours
Validity Period of Certificate
- Current certificate is within 6 months prior to expiry date: 2 years after the expiry date of the current certificate.
- Current certificate is within 3 months after expiry: 2 years from the course completion date.
Award
“Certificate of Certified Workers and Competent Person” will be issued to student who have 100 % attendance and passing the written and practical examinations.

Medium of Instruction
Cantonese is the primary medium. Teaching materials & examination paper will be in Chinese. English is also provided as medium of instruction with English terminology of handout. Please contact us for more details.
