According to the new policy announced by Labour Department , effective from 25 September 2019, the total course hours of 【Competent Person & Certified Worker of Confined Space Operation (Revalidation) 】will be changed to 12 hours instead of 7 hours.
Training Focus
The Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Confined Spaces) Regulation regulates workers shall hold a valid certificate to work in the confined space. This certificate issued under FIUO carries an expiry date. Upon expiry, the certificate holder has to successfully complete a recognized revalidation course.
Admission Requirements
Possess a “Certificate for Certified Worker and Competent Person” which will be expired within 6 months or expired for not more than 3 months.
Award
“Certificate of Certified Workers and Competent Person” will be issued to student who have 100 % attendance and with 75% of the total marks in the test.
